No sound from my Precision 380

I have just replaced the hard drive on my Precision 380 and now the sound will not work.  Please help!

Have you the proper sound driver installed?

Desktop

Asus Rampage, Q9450 @ 3.2GHz, 4GB DDR2 800MHz (4-4-4-12), 8800GTS 512MB

X-Fi XtremeGamer, 4 1TB HDs, Triple Boot - Ubuntu (Hardy), XP Pro and Vista Ultimate 64bit

If the drive you replaced has the OS on on there, you probably don't have the driver installed unless you imaged your old drive and transferred onto the new one.  But check to see that you don't have any yellow "?" listed in your device manager.
