OS Restore but No Audio 8400 Dimension
I followed the driver install check list. I have NO yellow exclamation points and STILL NO SOUND. AGGH. I even unistalled the Sound Blaster card, Removed it from the computer and re-installed it . I did find help with the drivers here in dell support for various problems. Still No Sound

Did you install the Chipset Drivers? If not, that could be the source of the problem. On an install the correct sequence is (1) Install Windows (2) Install chipset drivers (3) Install device drivers such as sound, video, etc.
