Obscure mounting bracket?
Hey guys,
I recently made a purchase off of eBay for a couple of 1703fp monitors, which came with some odd "stands" which the seller noted could be used as mounting brackets. You can secure a monitor to it well enough, and you can slide the monitor up and down about 4 inches on the stand, as well as tilt the monitor to and fro. The stand does not have a base. The back and top of this "bracket" has bare metal exposed
The part number on this "mount" pulls up nothing on Dell's site, and only a few results on Google. Part number is BN96-00642A.
Basically the question I have is this: What is thins thing, and how do I mount it to a wall? It's a Dell part, and it's specific to the 1703 for sure, as it has that model number embossed on the inside of the plate.
I've found a picture of the bracket I'm talking about, only in this image it's mounted to a silver stand of some sort which I do not have. If anybody has experience with this part, please respond. Thanks in advance guys (and gals)!
