Exactly what does the error message say?
Did you try downloading it again?
Are you logged into an account with administrator privileges?
Did you try disabling your antiviral/antimalware suite(s) before running the .exe?

I am not a Dell employee
I just ran the exe file again for the 5th+ time to get the error message and it worked. Who knows? I did not do anything different.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. At least it got me to try one more time so I could relay the error message and it worked!
bios files with malware instead of bios updates will act this way. These MUST be run as administrator or you will get access denied.
