Optiplex 3040 Micro WLAN Not Working
Hello all, we have some Optiplex 3040 Micros and have installed the Intel AC 8260 wireless card the same one listed on Dells build page. I have installed the drivers from the Dell downloads page and the OS Win10 64bit sees the hardware just fine. The problem is the wireless card although active does not see ANY wireless networks around it. I have the same issue on 3 new 3040's using 3 different cards. BIOS is updated to the latest 1.4.11.
Has any one used WLAN in the 3040 micro and if so what did it take to get it to work.

Thanks for posting.
Your question sounds like the wifi card is not hooked up to the antenna. Please make sure your antenna connections are secured. Here's a post that may help: http://dell.to/2iFgnV7
