Optiplex 380 no display appears
Received Optiplex 380 from employer as surplus. No Hard drive or RAM. Installed new hard drive and RAM but do not have display. Is there supposed to be a display driver card in the PC?

Thanks for posting.
The Optiplex 380 comes with Intel GMA 4500 Dynamic Video Memory Technology 5.0. Do you have any video while it's booting up?
If you're not getting any video at all, you should try using a plug in video card to test it. Also, check the BIOS to see that the onboard video hasn't been disabled.
If you've tried all those, then the motherboard may need to be replaced.
