The photo you have is of the mini tower.

You will need a higher-capacity power supply for a video card in that class.  Most of these require direct connection to the power supply that your OEM PS does not have.

The 970 is a high end card even now - and while what was said of the 10x0 cards is true, beware one thing:  these current-generation cards (along with their AMD counterparts) require UEFI support.  Your system does have UEFI support but if it's currently running in legacy (BIOS) mode, you will need to change that AND do a ground-up reinstall of Windows (UEFI requires a GPT-format drive, which in turn requires a reinstall from BIOS-MBR mode).

Why not use the GTX 1050 Ti?   It doesn't even need a external PSU; it just draws 75W from your motherboard.  It performs almost as well as the GTX 970 but you don't need to putter around with buying a new PSU and rewiring everything.  You just take the card out and swap it.

Or at least that's what I'm actually planning to do anyways.    I might be totally wrong so having somebody confirm would be great.

Edit: You may actually want to check your power requirements.  GT 210 uses about 40 watts less power than the 1050 ti.    Not sure if that will push you over the top.

I don't know if the 7010 BIOS will support newer cards.

What power supply do you have? That will be the other factor to consider.

If the BIOS will support a GTX 9xx card it should also handle a GTX 10xx card.

If so, then I would look at a GTX 1060 or a 1050ti.

The GTX 970 is a great card but it needs more power than than 1060 does and the 1060 is faster.

If you have a power supply with one or two six pin PCIe power connectors, then a 1050ti might work.

I would buy from a vendor where you can return it if it doesn't.
