Optiplex 760 SFF BIOS reset
Are there jumper pins on the motherboards in the Optiplex 760 SFF which can be used to reset the BIOS? Which/Where?

Are there jumper pins on the motherboards in the Optiplex 760 SFF which can be used to reset the BIOS? Which/Where?

Might be easier just to remove the motherboard battery:
Power off, unplug and press/hold power button for ~15 sec. Open case and remove the battery. Press/hold power button for ~30 sec. Then reinstall battery (use a fresh one if this one is old).
If you really want to use the jumper, unplug and press/hold power button. The RTC reset jumper (RTCRST) is #13 on the SFF motherboard diagram in the Service Manual:

Pay attention to which pins the jumper is on before you remove it.
Either way, be good a idea to copy down all the current BIOS settings before resetting to the defaults, just in case...
