Optiplex GX280 boot problem
I want to reinstall Windows xp. I am trying to boot pc from CD but it wont. It ask to press f1 everytime when i start my pc. What should i do to boot it from CD, so i can make partition in hard drive and reinstall windows xp.

Maybe several issues you should check:
-The CD-drive is damaged and can't read CDs correctly, try cleaning the drive
- The CD itself is damaged and can't be read, try to read it in another PC if possible
- The CD you are using is not bootable at all, make sure you are using the "green WinXP" CD that came with your system.

not one of the issues you stated are applicable, this is a bug DELL DO NOTHING ABOUT EXCEPT STALL AND WAIT FORE THE PROBLEM TO DISAPPEAR INTO THE PAST, WITH MANY OF THEIR CUSTOMERS DISAPPEARING INTO THE PAST TOO
