Overclock settings for XPS 730 QX9770
Ive recently purchased an XPS 730 with H2C cooling and was unaware at the time of purchase that there was an option to OC the stock processor.
Being new to overclocking ive spent the last week reading pages of information on overclocking, cooling, QX9770 specs and so on, so I understand the basic theory.
Can I simply replicate settings in the bios to resemble a Factory DELL overclock setting @3.8GHz or is every system too different to use a standard Factory DELL OC setting?
I'm not aiming to break any 3Dmark scores, just get a little extra performance without breaking stuff.
Cheers

The stock speed from Intel, of the Extreme QX9770 quad processor is 3.2GHz which is my current speed.
I ordered my system over the phone and wasn't aware of, or given the option to have it overclocked by DELL. ChrisM explains how to automatically overvoltage the system here:
http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=Tech_Talk_XPS&message.id=63609&query.id=280953#M63609
however my RAM is non-EPP so I left out the step of 'Set EPP 2.0 Memory to Auto', this gave my CPU a clock of 3.8GHz, however within a couple of minutes of loading windows the system blue screened, so I went back into the bios and reloaded the default settings, system stable again.

Not sure if the options are different from country to country, but there was no option for a QX9770 let alone overclocking the QX9770 on the Aussie site.
When I ordered my XPS i ordered over the phone and was given a couple of options which weren't shown on the Dell.com.au website.

Wondering if someone with similar specs to my XPS 730 H2C with a QX9770 that has been overclocked by DELL to 3.8GHz could post some pics or write down the bios settings please.
I have emailed DELLsupport but not sure if they are able to help me with ocing when it wasn't done from the factory.
Thanks
