I wonder if anyone has ever had this experience? I purchased a Dell Desktop Inspiron 3847. When it arrived I tried to load software from my disk. Would you believe, The CD tray would not open, better still when I opened the DVD tray I found that it was installed UPSIDE DOWN. That's correct the tray was literally install upside down. I can't believe Dell fails to perform a quality check on its' products before shipping them to customers. Needless to say I will never purchase another Dell product. I immediately contacted customer care and was informed they would send me a replacement and that I would receive an email confirming our conversation. I am still awaiting the confirmation email. But I shouldn't be surprised it has not been sent. If a company cannot install a CD/DVD tray right side up, why should I expect them to follow up with good customer service.
