Precision 380 and Pentium D 805
Is it possible to put the Pentium D 805 in a Precision 380? If so, is it possible to set the bus speed to 800mhz instead of the default 533mhz?

Wow, if teh BIOS auto adjusts the FSB to the proper speed then why would you need to adjust it manually since it is going to be at the correct speed?
Do you get it or what? In simpler terms there is no need to manually adjust the FSB since it will be at the speed the CPU runs on. No Dell supports FSB changes. A few XPS's allow raising the multiplier on extreme edition cpu's but that is not the same thing.
You cannot adust the FSB but you do not need to since the BIOS will do it automatically clear now?

he wanted to see if teh FSB could be OC'd to a faster speed using that processor, under the right circumstances, that 805 can run as fast as a Pent. D EE, when its OC'd and watercoled.
