Precision T1700 MT (1700-7359) PSU

I just bought a Precision T1700 MT in a minimal spec with the intention to change the graphics card (it's a nVidia Quadro K420) however it appears that the PSU doesn't have a 6 pin power connector which I had expected since the specs said it would support a graphics card up to 150W which in my mind would be 75W from the PCI-E port and 75W from the 6 pin!

Does this mean I have to install a 3'rd party PSU? (which is no issue for me I have several laying around) .

If yes I have a follow up, since the periphials are connected to power on the Motherboard can I just connect them directly to the new PSU leaving the PSU->motherboard connector empty?

Thanks in advance.

Seems like I'll be answering my own question!

It would appear that the motherboard can't use a 3'rd party PSU since it has a proprietary connector instead of a 24-pin so I guess I'm stuck with a 75W video card - so I'll be getting a GTX 750Ti.
