Problems with Intel Xeon E3-1225 v3 3.2GHz (3.6GHz boost) Quad-Core running Win10

I use a number of Dell Poweredge T20 Servers as PCs running Win10 but I have an issue with one specification which refuses to display graphics clearly.

Hardware is:

Intel Xeon E3-1225 v3 3.2GHz (3.6GHz boost) Quad-Core, 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3 ECC UDIMM, 1TB 7200rpm LFF SATA, Gigabit LAN, 290W PSU

No amount of driver downloads seems to resolve this. All cables changed. Display changed. Nothing else to change.

Dell have offered to replace the MB but before I do that, I want to be sure it is a MB issue and not some other rouge problem.

Problem even persists when using an additional GPU so something definitely wrong here.

Power Edge Servers have Server OS as support not Desktop Operating Systems.  Without 64 bit WHQL certified Drivers for the video card it may not display anything other than 8 bit VGA 800 X 600.

Thanks but original issue was not with GPU but concerning onboard 4600 HD Graphics on Xeon chip.

Elsewhere, another server of the same specification works flawlessly, leading me to suspect hardware issues.

Can't remember last time desktop OS wasn't working fine on simple server boxes. Win10 down to Win 7 certainly ok.

In any case, I would have thought Win Server 2008 drivers would be fine as they are for Win 10 ?

Per the spec there shouldnt be an issue with the processor.

Neither Dell nor microsoft support DESKTOP OS on their Servers.

PowerEdge T20 technical specification

Mini tower (14.17”h x 6.89”w x 17.12”l)

Intel ®  Xeon E3-1200 v3 product family

WIN2008 drivers MAY NOT Support Windows 10 certificates.
