I have recently (within two months) purchased a new Optiplex 7010. The computer has a processor fan issue according to the hardware tests I have run (you can also hear the fan spinning far too fast).
The below is a message received during hardware test:
Error Code: 2000-0511
Msg: Fan - The Processor Fan) fan failed to respond correctly.
Technical Support will need this information to diagnose the problem.
Please record the above Error and Validation codes.
Any advice at all? Seem to be no results searching for similar codes here on the forum.
Call technical support and get the processor fan replaced.
