Reinstall windows 7 new drives mirrored 990
Hi all, So I have a 990 that will need a reinstall of windows. bad drives. I have two new drives WD not the original Seagate's and I plan to run the drives mirrored as they were when we first received the PC. I have raid enabled in the bios. The new drives are detected and both new drives show Non-raid disk. I assume I need to go in the matrix storage manager on boot, select create new volume and specify the raid level (Mirrored) prior to my install.

Yes. You will also likely need the driver for the RAID/Intel controller during the Windows install in order for Windows to see the virtual disk to install to.
