SMART status test indeterminate

Ran the computer system test check and got the code E01Dh for the hard drive.  What does that mean and how can I fix it?  Says something about upgrading the driver for the hard drive controller or disk system. Huh? how do I do that?  Thanks,  Nann

That is not a valid code.  There is no one size fits all for All OS, All models. SMART Errors indicate that the drive is dying soon to be dead.

Remove and reinstall the Hard Drive for the error codes:

$129.00 dollars and several hours later I found out it apparently was caused by a fluctuation in my wi-fi.  Dell ran the test again and IT WAS OK.   At one time a tech was trying to tell me the code meant my Epson printer causing th problem,  I don't have an Epson printer and the info with the code said "hard drive." Arrrrrrugh!!!  Anyway, the LAST tech updated my BIOS (Must admit I would not have known to do that)  just to do it I guess, to give me something for my money, and we parted company.
