SX270 cpu upgrade

I have an SX270 with a Celeron 2.2Ghz processor.  I have tried to upgrade the processor to a Celeron 2.4G, 2.7G and P4 3.0G.  Every cpu I plug in does the same thing - the power light comes on as steady amber and the fans run.  I guess solid amber means there is an internal power problem.  When I put the 2.2G back in, it works fine.  The processors are all .13 micron, the Celerons are 400fsb and the p4 is 800fsb and they all test out ok in other systems.  Any ideas about the solid amber?
