Sound

For Windows 2000
How do I reinstall the Multimedia Audio Controller and the PCI Device?
My speakers are pluged in and there on and working but there is no sound. Everything else seems to be installed but when I look under Computer Management those two (MAC and PCI device) seem to be the ones with the yellow question marks and exclamation points. I beileve that means they have problems? Please Help Thank You.
Edit 1: It's an OptiPlex 150

First you'll want to make sure you have the proper drivers downloaded and ready.  You can go to http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R45973&SystemID=PLX_PNT_P3C_GX150&os=WNT5&osl=en&deviceid=691&devlib=0&typecnt=1&vercnt=2&formatcnt=1&fileid=53829
 to get them.

After that, go back into the Device Manager and you can click on the items in question that have exclamation or question marks and remove them by highlighting them and pressing your DELete key.  After they're removed, restart the system and it should begin detecting hardware when Windows reloads.  If it asks for drivers, simply point them to the folder where you extracted the audio drivers.
