Speaker configuration 5.1 Not working
I've only got 2 out of 6 speakers working. I have tried to reset to 5.1 in control panel but it makes no difference. Any ideas ?

Dell computer model? Version of windows you are running?

It is a Dell Dimension 9150 (XPS400) with Windows XP (service pack 3) running on Sigma Tel Audio driver.

I would suggest reinstalling your sound driver from HERE

Hi all,
can you help me please too)
I have Dell Optiplex GX280 PC, there are sound card(SoundMAX Analog Device) onboard, OS Windows XP sp2 and only stereo output and 2 input(microphone + line in) now. Can i rechange purpose of input connector, and make:
sub+centre and backward L&R another one, for 5.1 sound system. Somebody know which kind of driver me should use.

You need to start a new thread, not hijack or add on to an existing thread. Your problem is a different model PC than the original poster.
