Studio XPS 8100 No boot device available
I have a Studio XPS 8100 Desktop and when I turn it on it loads to the Dell screen then continues to load but then It comes to a screen where it says
No boot device availabe
wait for Enter key to retry
SATA 1: Installed
SATA 2: Installed
SATA 3: Installed
SATA 4: None
It started doing this for over a year ago and I never had time to attempt to fix it.

Start with the Dell diagnostics - F12 at powerup. Run an extended test on the hard drives.
What is set as the first boot device (SATA1 or a RAID 0 array)?
