Studio XPS 9100 video card upgrade

I've had my 9100 for about three years now  and love it.  I am planning to update my 1GB 5870 video card.  My monitor is 1920x1080 max.

Will this card work in the system?  My major concern is putting more heat in the case so I'm trying to stay away from multi-fan GPUs.

Also will I need a new PSU?

Thank you!

Hello,

The EVGA 04G-P4-2766-KR GeForce GTX 760 4GB requires 500W power supply. Whereas the Studio XPS 9100 was shipped with 525W PSU. Hence you would not require to change the power supply.

You might have cooling issues unless you move the internals into a better-ventilated case, like the Cooler Master N200.
