You need to download and extract THIS File to a floppy disk. Then you put this in the system and when you see the prompt to load drivers you point it to the floppy drive.

In BIOS Boot Sequence Enter Move to On board CD ROM With Plus or Minus On Key Board Move CD ROM To TOP Move Primary Hard Drive To second positions This is General You did Give Model of Computer Some or mine GX 270 Has From BIOS or USB leave on BIOS top. Diff If you have GX270 Don't worry I should not have mentioned it In Drives Make sure your drives have a Check By the if not Space Bare turns them on or off. Turn them all on. SAVE AND EXIT When the Screen Come F10 I think for Boot min. Move to Boot from On board CD ROM That should be highlighted now Place boot Disc in CD Rom Close Give it a second or so and hit enter on you key Board. It may take a few minutes to show a screen New Drive will probable need to be formatted Windows will do it . It just takes a little longer to install, Than what it would a normal reboot of original HDD Fallow Prompts .... After Put boot sequence Back to Hard drive what ever you wan't to boot after hard drive.... Don't no what BIOS or Computer you have If fails Go to BIOS Turn on all devices Drives Keep CD ROM ON TOP First BOOT Then boot from CD ROM same order as before. When boot is complete. Restart It will show what drives can't be found F1 To Continue F2 to set up BIOS write down or remember What Devices Could not be found Turn the off SAVE AND EXIT If you need any Drives you turn off , Turn them back on later Hope this helps

Thanks, I've already started that process, but the issue is that the system initialy came with IDE and I'm trying to go to solely SATA and system is not recognizing drive. It seems that I have to lkoad a third party ddrive for the SATA to be recognized.

Thank you all for your assistance. I guess I don't have to throw the system away
