Two monitor issue - inspiron 3847
I just purchased an Inspiron 3847. I have my first monitor - Dell E172Fp connected by a VGA to VGA cable to the cpu. This monitor works fine. I also have a 2nd monitor - Dell 1703FP connected to the HDMI port on the computer by a VGA to HDMI cable. I have gone into the BIOS to make sure that multiple screens is enabled. I can not get the 1703FP to show anything from the cpu or even be detected.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
DELL-Chris M

Apologies that we missed your post.
Inspiron 3847 VGA out --> VGA to VGA cable --> E172FP VGA in
Inspiron 3847 HDMI out --> HDMI to VGA cable --> 1703FP VGA in
Bios -Onboard Device Configuration
Intel Multi-Display Enabled
Does the 1703FP have an Input Source Select button to choose VGA? Have you tested only the 1703FP on the Inspiron 3847?
Inspiron 3847 HDMI out --> HDMI to VGA cable --> 1703FP VGA in
If still no go, consider purchasing an HDMI to DVI cable.
