Upgrade to USB 3
Is it possible to upgrade to USB 3 on an XPS 420. Dell does not show any USB 3 accessories for this model. The computer is currently running Windows 7 64 bit home premium.

Hi madcoucal,
Sorry for the inconvenience. Dell XPS 420 was released into the market when USB 3.0 technology was not available. XPS 420 comes with PCI Express x1 card connector wherein you can connect the USB 3.0 cards. You can go for the USB 3.0 cards from the links below.
