Vostro 220 shuts down when prints document

I have been using Vostro 220 Vista and a Dell B1160W laser printer without any problems for a few years until last week.

When I try to print a document  with Dell B1160W, Vosto 220 shuts down. A cash register printer is connected with this computer, too. When I print a receipt, there is no problem. Any suggestions to fix this problem?

Will the laser printer print if the cash register printer is not connected to the PC? Try disconnecting all USB devices, leaving only the laser printer, and mouse and keyboard connected....

Those power hungry devices may be overloading the USB hub on the motherboard so it shuts off.  If the laser printer works when it's the only USB, aside from mouse and keyboard, you may need to get an externally powered USB hub with its own power brick. Plug the power brick into the wall and the hub into a rear USB port. Connect the laser printer through the hub, with cash register printer connected to a different rear USB port and see what happens.
