Vostro 230 power-on issue
I have replaced a PC which was set to power on when the mains power was turned on. As all its predecessors could do this I am wondering if I am missing something in the BIOS setup.
It seems like the Vostro 230 will only automatically turn-on if a power failure has prevented it from shutting-down properly.
Can anyone advise?

Hi Davey V,
I would suggest not turning the PC off using the mains. I trust you're not doing that.
In the BIOS under power there is a setting called "restore on AC power loss". The options are last state, off and on. You want this set to ON.
