Web Cam doesn't work on rear USB ports
My web cam doesn't work properly when I plug it on rear USB ports (Inspiron 580), no video but I have the microphone working. But when I plug it on the front USB ports it works perfectly! I don't understant this, is there any difference between front and rear USB ports?

The rear ones on hardwired onto the motherboard. The front ones connect to the motherboard via cabling. Do other devices work on those rear USB ports?

Yes, they all work perfectly on the rear USB ports: printer, loudspeakers, joystick, etc. Only the webcam doesn't...

I do not know of a solution. It is odd that it functions on the front but not the rear.
