What kind of graphics cards are compatible with an xps 8300?

Like the title says, Please have proof. Running on a corsair hx650 w

Hi Sofalize,

XPS 8300 comes with the Intel Integrated Graphics Processor (IGP). Along with this Dell has tested below listed add on cards:

  • AMD Radeon HD5450 (Dell Part # KP8GM)
  • AMD Radeon HD5670 (Dell Part # HWHRN)
  • AMD Radeon HD5770 (Dell Part # GCJ42)
  • AMD Radeon HD5870 (Dell Part # 2XTG4 )
  • AMD Radeon HD6450 (Dell Part # HCVMH)
  • AMD Radeon HD6670 (Dell Part # 8F60V)
  • AMD Radeon HD6770 (Dell Part # 8PJF8)
  • AMD Radeon HD6870 (Dell Part # Y9XH7)
  • AMD Radeon HD6950 (Dell Part # 4VDWW)
  • Nvidia G405 (Dell Part # VH86X)
  • Nvidia GT420 (Dell Part # X78HM)
  • Nvidia GTX560 (Dell Part # WGP2G)

Does a 560ti work? 

Also open to see what kind of GPU's others have tested.

Hi Sofalize,

Theoretically speaking, GeForce GTX 560 Ti card shall work with this system and you should not face any issues in installing it as well. However, Dell has not tested this card with this system.
