Where find a Vista driver for Dell 2000FP flat screen monitor?

I've downloaded the driver I can find (2000FP.exe) and it is labelled only for OS's up to 2000 and XP.  When I try to load it,  I get instruction to execute in "Control Panel | Display"  There is no such place in Vista.

Is there a Vista driver somewhere?  Or some way to get the driver I have loaded?  I'm getting "dancing" blue appearing on black screens in some apps including the Windows startup screen.  I'm using an nVidia GEForce 8500 graphics card and driver.

Thanks

You don't need to install LCD/TFT screens drivers under XP or Vista?

The problems you're describing are not with the monitor - but with the graphics card, so I'd suggest you start by reinstalling the drivers :emotion-55:

What system do you have?

If it's a desktop, you can get the latest drivers directly off the Nvidia website.

If it's a laptop, you *should* download whatever drivers Dell offer.  B you can use Nvidia's Notebook Drivers instead if you want (I do).
