Win XP Realtek Driver woes.....
I now have XP Pro up and running flawlessly on my Inspiron 531, except.......for one LITTLE thing, and this is the thing I wanted to work, audio.
Or more precisley my TV card software to be able to detect the '
Recording' options on my sound card. I have the Realtek card, the Realtek software (driver) seemingly divides up the options for playback & recording into Realtek HD Audio Output & .....input, repectivley. Whereas my other PC (Dimension with SoundMaxDigitalAudio driver) had both playback & recording on one option/device, ie. when you bring up 'VolumeControl' > 'Options' > 'Properties'.
Can anyone help me with a '
driver' that might work (either in XP or Vista) with my HighDef Realtek Audio Card, or is there another way that might work?????????
Note: I've tried two different Realtek Drivers but they are both the same. Is there another DRIVER that will give me a similar set-up as I had with the SoundMaxDigitalAudio driver ??
