Windows Activation Technologies incorrect
Hi, I am being told my copy of Windows 7 is not genuine. That is incorrect. My machine had a disk drive issue and I had to use the repair disc. When I run the diags it reports all MS software is licensed. How do I correct this? Mike

slmgr.vbs /dlv runs fine with the following results:
but I continue to get the screen complaining my Windows 7 is not genuine and I should activate.

Change the Key to match what is on the COA on your system then reactivate. If it still says its bad then call the toll free number and reactivate over the phone. Many OEM Keys were invalidated a long time ago. You don't have to wait its a machine automated system. Takes about 10 minutes.

Thanks guys, I have updated the product key using what was on my tag on the computer. I will let you know if I see that error again. Let's assume it is now fixed.
