Windows Blue Screen when trying to use my DVD drives
I have an Dimension 5150/E510 with Windows XP SP3. When ever I try to read ad DVD from my either of my internal drives I get the Blue Screen with the message: A driver has over run a stack-based buffer. Stop; 0X000000F7 (0X9CA01DAA, 0X0000BB40, 0XFFFF44BF, 0X00000000). I even purchased an external I/O Magic DVD drive but got the same error. Anybody have any thoughts.
Thanks

Scanned thoroughly for malware recently?
Since it happens with both internal and external DVD drives, it sounds like a software problem. Read this for general info on F7 errors.
You might try running sfc /scannow from Start>Run to see if it can fix the problem. You'll need a Windows XP SP3 CD to run sfc.
