Windows XP - recovered from a serious error
Every time I boot up my 8200 and choose an account I get a message stating "The system has recovered from a serious error." Microsoft is asking me to send an error report which I always do. This happens every time. The shutdown or restart before is always uneventful and normal with no apparent errors.
Details reveal this information:
BCCode : a BCP1 : 7FFD8016 BCP2 : 00000002
BCP3 : 00000000 BCP4 : 804EA337 OSVer : 5_1_2600
SP : 0_0 Product : 768_1
The following files are included in the report.
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini012702-02.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\NYFREA~1\TEMP\WER1.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml
Another interesting note is that the message does not appear when logging off and or switching accounts, only when the computer is first turned on or restarted. Any way of getting this message to stop popping up every time the computer is turned on?
