XPS 18 Tablet
I have an XPS 18 I want to say it is an 1820. It has both the msata drive and the sata drive installed from the factory. I have successfully changed the stock sata drive to an SSD drive but here is my questions. Now that I have an SSD drive installed do I need the MSATA drive and if not can I just pull it out or is there a procedure? Secondly, would it be better to buy a larger msata drive and do away with the sata drive and what would the process for that be? Lastly, is the maximum supported RAM 12GB (4 onboard and 8 in the slot)? I am a tech person so I understand this isn't recommended for end users to do but I am very comfortable with my ability to do it if I can understand the relationship between the msata drive and the sata drive since they both contain data. Thanks in advance.
