XPS 400 Video Cards

I have a Dell XPS 400 with a stock 375W PSU, the Graphics Card im getting is a PNY Verto 9800GT 1GB GDDR3 Memory, was wonderign if the PSU can handle it, its probably already been answered but i want clarification before i plug this into my computer and possibly blow up my PSU. On a video review i watched it sayd to have atleast a 450W psu minimum. Can i get info please?

The Current Graphics Card I have atm is an NVIDIA Geforce 8600GT at 256MB of RAM

Thanks

Heres the Card in Question

Re: XPS 400 Video Cards

Actually, the 1GB card uses fewer watts than the 512MB one so you are only looking at needing around 200 watts for the entire system with the card installed.  What you have is fine and it is not going to blow up your PSU.   Don't forget to connect the 6-Pin PCIe connector to the back of the 9800GT.
