Yes, the Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 700-Watt Power Supply (RS700-PCAAE3-US) should be compatible with the XPS 420.

5.9 is standard for a SATA 7200rpm HD, if you install an SSD drive, the Win 7 index should jump to around 7.8.

I've been using both Crucial and Kingston, the last Kingston HyperX 240gb, 3k, internal 2.5" SSD I purchased, was off eBay for $162 and came complete with the 3.5" installation bracket.

Yes, the CoolerMaster 700w PSU is more than compatible for the ASUS EAH6670/DIS/1GD5 Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16, if fact, a 500w power supply would be compatible.

Sorry for bumping into this thread.

@shesagordie

Is Corsair AX850 PSU (www.corsair.com/professional-series-gold-ax850-80-plus-gold-certified-fully-modular-power-supply.htm...) compatible with XPS 420 as well?
