XPS 420 Power supply Upgrading

Hi! I was hoping if someone could help me about this 700Watts PSU i research at http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-eXtreme-700-Watt-RS700-PCAAE3-US/dp/B003M9RWGG/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top. Is this Compatible on xps 420 dell? I was planning on buying this but i wasn't sure if it is compatible.

Please Suggest any GOOD compatible Power supply.. I really need som help..Thank you

I currently have 375 watts of PSU

-3GB RAM 

-Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Windows 7

-1TB hard drive

i was planning to get these New graphic card Asus Amd HD Radeon 6670.

But i will need a help to confirm the PSU on the link below if its worth buying.. TY

Yes, the Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 700-Watt Power Supply (RS700-PCAAE3-US) should be compatible with the XPS 420.

Thank You  I appreciate you help. I will order it now both graphic card and PSU. I'll probably get 550 watts or 600watts .ill feed back if something is wrong.

Also yes, on the Thermaltake Black Widow W0319RU 850W ATX 12V v2.3, EPS 12V v2.91 CrossFire Certified power supply.

5.9 is standard for a SATA 7200rpm HD, if you install an SSD drive, the Win 7 index should jump to around 7.8.

I've been using both Crucial and Kingston, the last Kingston HyperX 240gb, 3k, internal 2.5" SSD I purchased, was off eBay for $162 and came complete with the 3.5" installation bracket.

Yes, the CoolerMaster 700w PSU is more than compatible for the ASUS EAH6670/DIS/1GD5 Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16, if fact, a 500w power supply would be compatible.

Thanx for the advice  Sheshagordie. Ill try and order the PSU see if it works. Ill feed back if its compatible.

oh and another question.  The cooler master extreme 700watts is it compatible on this graphic card ?  www.newegg.com/.../Product.aspx . Im planning to get one of these on my desktop so I just need some confirmation  before buying it. TY you again and i appreciate your feedback.

hi again :)) i was thinking  i change my mind about the power supply that i link at the previous post. Is this compatible on  my dell xps 420 www.newegg.com/.../Product.aspx. I research it just last night and, i think its a good power supply but i wasn't sure if it will fit on my desktop. May you please check it out for me Thank you. i appreciate your feedback.

Hi Shesha i need your help about my new graphic card the one i ordered on my previous link - Asus HD 6670 1GB gDDR5 - i have a problem installing the graphic driver it says "Installation package failed". Microsoft visual c++ 2010 redistributable  failed to install. it took me about 3hrs to figure it out but i cant still find the solution. I was wandering if you could help me again. TY and actually the blackwidow Thermaltake 850watts PSU acutually works on my xps 420. Only problem is my graphic driver failed to install.

-Windows 7 32-bit

-3GB RAM

-Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz  2.39GHz

-Thermaltake Black Widow  TR2 RX 850 Watts PSU (WORKING)

-Asus EAH6670 HD 1GB GDDR5 Graphic ( Currently not working on driver installation).

A thought, did you remove all the old graphic/video drivers, before installing the new card?

yes i did. i even use driver sweeper and still ill get the erorr. right now im trying to reformat the whole system and install it. ill see if it works.
