XPS 420 error
Hi all, XPSs 420 has been a trusty steed for many years. Just died today. Screen is covered in patters and colours and the error codes 1 2 3 appear on the lights. Any ideas why it could be? Runs 4gb ram and q6600 processor. Thanks

I've recorded it because the numbers change a lot.

Diagnostic lights 1-2-3-0 indicates another failure, that can be a motherboard issue.
See page 80, here in the XPS 420 Manual, Troubleshooter and Diagnostic Guide.

What is the color of the power button LED, is it blinking, solid, see page 75?
Are there any 'Beeps', see page 81?
