XPS 730x - fan or liquid cooling?

Hi everyone,

I'm just two inches away from ordering my new XPS 730x system - but one question remains: Is there a "normal" air cooling system or the H2C liquid cooling inside the tower? The DELL pages does not contain any useful information on that subject....and chat is broken :/

Does anyone have any specifics?

Best wishes,

Peter

At this point in time the Dell XPS 730X is being built only with Air Cooled, copper base/aluminum fin type cooling.  The H2C units are not being offered while Dell retests these.  So, if you are not in a crack, hold off and see what happens over the next few weeks to order.  If the air cooled unit suits your needs, then there is no problem.

Thanks for replying! That's kind of funny, the young lady on the DELL hotline just told me that every 730x will be delivered including a H2C liquid cooling system. Maybe this has something to do with the place you live in (e.g. Germany in my case)??

Could someone "official" from DELL clear this up?

Best wishes,

Peter
