XPS 8700 + MSI GTX 760 - no display

I'm working on a Dell XPS 8700 which seems to have a flaky GTX 660Ti (the card it came with) as it's bee unstable in games in so I installed a known working GTX 760 (reference blower) to see if the PC was stable with that.  Unfortunately I can't get any display from the PC with this card installed, I've ensured both the six pin power connectors are plugged in and updated the bios from A06 to A11.

I've installed an older GTX 645 and that works absolutely fine although I'd like to work out why the 760 is not working, I don't have a displayport adapter so I can't test with the onboard GPU although I'm thinking that's the next step.  From what I've read this should work fine, anything else I can check?

If I recall with the higher end GTX 7xx cards,

In BIOS, SECURE BOOT Must be set off and LEGACY CSM set to ON.

We have an MSI GTX 760 in one of our 8700s, and I'm fairly sure those are the settings in BIOS.

Also note, A10 BIOS is not required for GTX 7x0 cards. The A10 BIOS became necessary with GTX 9x0 and later cards. It is not an issue or a concern, just not a requirement for the 760 as we had a 760 and a 770 in XPS 8700s long before A10 or A11 was released.

Thanks very much for that, I did a lot of searching and didn't see any mention of that setting - I'll give it a go.
