XPS 8900 memory
Can the XPS 8900 accept 2666mhz modules? I think the stock modules are just 2133mhz. I am also guessing you can't combine both correct?

The system supports 2133 mhz only.
No, you cannot use different frequency modules.

I can confirm Kingston HyperX Fury 2666mhz will auto overclock and work fine in my Xps 8900.

My rig only has 24 gig ram on it. If I replace the 2 4gig rams with another brand of 2133 mhz ram would it still be compatible with the stock dell memory modules?

We would suggest to go ahead with same model please. Few of our customers had little to no success on trying a different brand memory modules.

So the 2666mhz works then and will full speed at 2666mhz?
