XPS 9000, Additional Hard Drive

Hi, i've never installed an HD before, but going to try and do so.  I've been reading lots of info about how to do it, and think i got the basics and know what to do now. This thread (http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/t/19343779.aspx?PageIndex=1) had helpful info, but i have a few additional questions.

1.  I have the Dell XPS 9000, and not the 9100.  The systems should be similar enough that I can still follow the advice given?

2.  I need a SATA to SATA data cable with metal latch?  It should be the only cable i need to buy?  The other (2?) connectors and cables should already be in the system?  This is what was recommended:  http://www.amazon.com/XON-SATA1818ML_BK-18-Inch-Metal-Latch-Cable/dp/B0029NJ8FE/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1282772222&sr=8-9

3.  What length of SATA to SATA data do you recommend for the XPS 9000?

Oh, and the additional hard drive i'm installing is a Seagate Barracuda 7200 1.5 TB 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s 32 MB Cache 3.5 Inch Internal.  ST31500341AS.  Should be the exact same as the first one Dell already installed.

Thank you
