XPS One 2710, HDD beeps under heavy load and IO throughput momentarily halts
When the disk drive is busy, I hear an intermittent beeping sound. When this happens, I notice in Task Manager that IO throughput pauses for 1/2 second or so when the beep occurs. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Hi Jon,
Have you run any hardware tests? My suggestion would be to run the Dell diagnostics.
