attention unsupported video configuration detected
Hopin someone out there can help :-(
I have a Dell Optiplex 760 with Windows 7 installed.
I removed the internal DVI PCI card to replace it with a TV Tuner Card, Fusion Dual Express.
The Tuner Card is VIDEO IN only and does NOT display external graphics.
Have tried both bios settings, AUTO and ONBOARD.
Now, when I boot, I get;
Attention: Unsupported Video Configuration Detected
Action is Required
This computer has an add-in graphics card, but the monitor is plugged
into the integrated video connector.
To attach the monitor cable to the add-in graphics card:
1. Shut down the computer
2. Plug the monitor cable into the add-in graphics card connector.
This may require a video adapter or video adapter cable.
(provided with the system)
3. Turn on the computer.
This message should not appear after completing these steps.
For more information or help, please refer to the system documentation.
System halted!
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to disable this please?
The SVGA cable will send the display to my monitor, the TV tuner is just for signal IN.

Nope. You cannot have a card in there if you want to use the onboard video port.

Is it a windows 7 thing or a dell bios thing? :-)
What about if I disconnect the VGA cable to the TV.
Would it then boot? and i could connect the TV via the Dell Display Port (via HDMI) at the rear?
Would that work?

* It's a Dell Bios design.
What about if I disconnect the VGA cable to the TV. Would it then boot?
* I don't think so. The PC is percieving that the TV Tuner Card is a video card so the onboard VGA and DP are not available.
