dell 620s fan failure disabling message

i recently change my dell fan
from branded to local one
its not making noise any more but when i turn my pc on
says system fan failure f1 to continue ........ etc
how to disable that message and enable
my pc config dell inspiron 620s
i3-2120
500 hd
4gb ram
bios version 10
updated to latest
or is their any harm if i disable that message

Hi Rishabh14,

There is no way to disable that error message.You’ll have to replace it with a Dell fan because the fan needs a sensor to be detected by BIOS. A non-Dell fan will give you that same error message every time, even if it's working correctly.

my dell inspiron 620s cpu fan always run maximum..its verry loud..how to make it slow...TQ
