dell vostro 400 feels hot

i just purchased a dell vostro 400 desktop and noticed back behind where the fan runs and a bit on top at the back it feels very warm, is this normal? thanks

Hello,

 

Nothing to worry about, the Vostro 400 mini-tower does run a litte hot. I have 20 of them running 24/7 and have not had any problems with them.

the heat you feel is the case fan blowing the hot air out of the case and the power supply fan blowing the hot air out of the power supply.
