firewire port
I have a 530 inspiron and I need to know if I need the firewire port card or do I just need the cable?

I'm not sure which tower I have, what is the difference between the mini and slim tower?

My 530MT does not have a IEEE port, if I remember rightly, a firewire port was an option that was offered, when you purchased an Inspiron 530MT. :emotion-42:

The Inspiron 530 Mini Tower has an IEEE port on the front.
The Inspiron 530 Slim Tower does not.

Thank you, that was a huge help. I have the Mini Tower, but the firewire port is optional, so I have to go and purchase the card. Thank you again.
