i660s wont recognize new gpu

Hello, all. I just installed a new XFX Radeon HD 6770 GPU in my Inspiron 660s. Installation was quick and simple, as you would expect, but its been several hours and my computer still wont recognize the new card. I need help, please.

An i660s indicates a small form factor model so I'm not sure how you would have installed an HD 6770 since I have never seen this card come in a low profile version to fit a slim case.  The i660s power supply would not support an HD 6770.  An HD 6770 requires an additional power cable hook up from the power supply which the i660s or even the standard i660 mini tower does not provide.

You are quite right. It is, in fact, the HD 6670 card. I'm certain it's been inserted, properly. I know it's receiving power since the fan is spinning, but for some reason my computer isn't recognizing it and the card isn't sending out a video signal.
