latest precision 390 bios - version 2.4.0

Did anyone update their 390 with this version and have the computer stop working with a diagnostic of 2, 4 - video card problem?

I am running my 390 with a Radeon X800 card. I had to re-insert the NVS 285 that came with the computer and downgrade back to version 2.3.0 to get it to work again.

I just got my Precision 390 Thursday, and I immediately updated it w/the new 2.4.0 BIOS. Everything went OK w/my update.
 
At the time, I still had the NVS 285 video card that came w/it, installed. Since then, I have installed an ATI X1950 XTX video card, 4 gb of memory, and re[laced the processor w/the Intel Q6600 processor.
 
Everything is working OK.

Does the new 390 Bios (2.4.0) support the e6750/e6850 Core 2 Duos?

They should, but I wouldn't know w/o trying.
 
Why would you even want to? They run w/an FSB of 1333 MHz. The 390 only supports an FSB of 1066 MHz, max.
 
If they could run, the E6750 would only run at 2.13 GHz, the same as an E6420, and w/the E6850, at 2.4 GHz, the same as an E6600.
